Allan has been in the life insurance and financial planning business since 1986. His financial planning practice revolves around a long-term focus on client wealth accumulation and estate preservation, supported by strong service and client relationships.
Born and raised in the Edmonton area, he has been happily married for over 30 years to his wife, Beth. They have three children. He spends his leisure time following the Oilers and taking long walks with his Wheaton Terrier, Teddy.
After graduating with a BSc from the University of Western Ontario in 2015, Donovan joined Financial Strategies Group in 2016. He is currently training to complete his Life License certification, as he pursues a career in Financial Advising.
Donovan enjoys cross country running and road racing, playing hockey and cheering on McDavid and the Oilers in their chase for an impending Stanley Cup Championship.
He is also continually adding to his world traveller’s resume and has most recently visited New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.
Sue enjoys people and perfect paperwork and has been Mark’s able assistant since 2005. After a 20 year career at CIBC handling investments, mortgages and loans, Sue left the business world to have a family.
Sue was born and raised in Edmonton and is an avid Oilers fan. She enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as running, golfing and being a Grandma brings her lots of enjoyment.
Sue enjoys working with clients and providing great service. She is pleased to be a part of the Financial Strategies Group team.
Karin is a Licensed Assistant for mutual funds and has been at Financial Strategies Group since 2007.
She brings 25 years administrative experience in the financial services industry to provide excellent service for clients.
She began her career in banking, accounting and worked for a life insurance company. Her background includes investments, life and disability insurance.
Jill joined Financial Strategies Group in 2017 while pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce, Cooperative Education degree in Finance and Family Enterprise at the University of Alberta. Throughout her degree, she has had the opportunity gain experience at Fidelity Investments Canada on their Financial Sales and Corporate Events teams in both Calgary and Toronto. She has successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course and looks forward to completing more designations upon her expected graduation in June, 2018.
Outside of the office, Jill is a bandwagon Oilers fan and enjoys her involvement in student groups at the Alberta School of Business and within the Edmonton running community.
